Born in Brooklyn, NY, Cassell A. Ferere has defined his lane. Redrawing the lines with visionary precision. Life, in all its facets, inspires him. Through this inspiration, Cassell founded Cassell Inc., which has been the harbor for all of his creative endeavors.
His path was not easy, and there have been stumbling blocks. But an acute sense of self-determination has guided Cassell down the road not taken. In the words of Kafka, "this door was meant only for him." Photography is his open door and bountiful well: reaping priceless springs of experience.
He has captured images of public figures at their most unassuming and unguarded. Producing a colorful range of work, Cassell has worked with the likes of many, including, music producer Pharrell Williams, artist Ed Sheeran, radio personality Peter Rosenberg, DJ Cipha Sounds, menswear designer Ron Bass, designers Dee & Ricky, Jackthreads, popular brand names, like, Samsung, Google Play Music, and former Attorney General of the United States under President Barack Obama, Eric Holder.
Cassell focuses on fashion and lifestyle photography, as well as portraiture, and is acutely focusing on filmmaking, completing 2 short silent films where he explores the narratives behind the human condition, and where still moments come to life. Expressing his creative vision, Cassell is constantly connecting with fashion, media and lifestyle brands. He is currently developing Reverie: PAGE magazine, where he bridges the gaps in fashion through grounded perspective; insider insight from the outsiders perspective, humanizing the often glamorized industry.
